Terms of Sale

Ordering and Payments for products

If you wish to place an order, please email us in the first instance and your order can be agreed, together with any delivery charges and delivery dates. Full payment should be sent in the form a cheque (drawn on a UK bank),   or electronic bank transfer. When cleared funds are available, your order will be dispatched.

In the event that you are ordering a made to order product, a non-refundable deposit to the value of 50% of the value of the goods, and delivery charges, should be sent to Paperworx, as above. The balance is due before dispatch. In the event that you cancel your order after the initial deposit is received and work has started on your order, the initial deposit is non-refundable.

If you are ordering from outside the UK, and making payment from outside the UK, then only an electronic payment is accepted. No cheques can be accepted from foreign banks outside the UK.


Paperworx endeavours to   process and despatch your order within 3-5 working days if your chosen product is in stock.  For other items that are made to order, you will be given an approximate delivery time when your order is accepted.

Paperworx uses Royal Mail Signed for Delivery to deliver items. The delivery times are typically from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Any product that is not featured on the website that may be an unusual size and weight will carry additional delivery charges, which are agreed on ordering.  There are no Sunday or Bank Holiday deliveries.

UK Mainland

We deliver to the UK mainland. This includes England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Please note below the following conditions that we must apply.

Other area surcharges

Delivery to some areas within the UK may be more expensive. We apply a postage and packaging surcharge to some areas, most notably the UK islands. This will be advised when your order is accepted.

Northern Ireland  

There may be an additional charge for deliveries to Northern Ireland

Delivery charging structure

The delivery charge is shown for each item on the website.  In the event that furniture is ordered that is not featured on the website, for example, a special made to order design, then the delivery charge will be advised.

Non-UK orders and deliveries

Paperworx is pleased to arrange delivery outside the UK.  The customer will be responsible for the organisation and any liabilities for this.


Should any product arrive damaged or unsuitable for use then please contact us within 2 days of delivery for a complete refund. In some cases we will ask for the product to be returned and we will organise its collection at a time to suit. Do not dispose of any such product unless directed to do so. There is no refund in any circumstances if your order is sent outside the UK.


If you wish to change or cancel an order before despatch please contact us as soon as you can.  If you have sent a 50% deposit for a made to order product, then this deposit cannot be returned if work has started on the product. However, if work has not started, then your deposit can be returned.

Privacy Policy

Paperworx is not registed under the UK Data Protection Act. No details are passed to any third party at any time.

Applicable Law

These terms are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with English law.
